Welcome to Boy Scout Troop 2 - Milford, MA

Thank you for your interest in Milford, MA Boy Scout Troop 2. Troop 2 belongs to the Knox Trail Council, South District. Established in 1927, we are one of the oldest, continuously serving Troops in the region. Troop 2 is a boy-led, adult-advised Troop. All of the programs are planned and executed by the Boy Scouts themselves, with experienced adult leaders available to advise and ensure that all activities are conducted in a safe manner. The main objective of the Troop is to encourage and support the scouts as they develop the lifelong skills of citizenship, leadership and self-reliance, while having lots of fun along the way. ALL EVENTS that require registration are now visible on the right side of the homepage!!!!  You'll see the Event Name (which is a link to the actual event page), the number of attendees and the registration deadline.  If you would like to see a "list" of all events try this - Click the <calendar> link in the menu  options, then on the top left, click the middle calendar icon.   Click on the number of months to display (select 24 to be sure to get them all).  You'll see the details for every event that has not yet occured including who the Tripmasters and Assistants are. More importantly, you'll see which events still need tripmasters!   Try viewing the calendar in different modes by clicking the other calendar icons.  Find the one you like!!!!!

Order of the Arrow Trail Crew

OA members interested in a high adventure trip have the opportunity to attend any of BSA's high adventure programs at a significantly reduced rate by working on the OA Trail Crew. Spend 1 week performing trail maintenance and then 1 week on a high adventure trek with your OA crew. OA Trail Crews are currently being formed for summer 2015, including Philmont Scout Ranch in Cimarron, NM, Norther Tier in Ely, MN, Summit Bechtel Reserve in Bradley, WV, and Florida Sea Base in Summerland Key, FL. Merit Badge College

Merit Badge College will be held from 12:30-5:30 pm on Sunday, December 7, 2014, at Lasell College in Newton, MA. Scouts can choose 2 merit badges to work on of their interest. Badges to be offered include: Architecture, Art, Aviation, Chess, Disabilities Awareness, Drafting, Electricity, Energy, Fingerprinting, Fire Safety, Geology, Indian Lore, Medicine, Photography, Radio, Salesmanship, Scouting Heritage, or Stamp Collecting.
