Welcome to Boy Scout Troop 2 - Milford, MA

Thank you for your interest in Milford, MA Boy Scout Troop 2. Troop 2 belongs to the Knox Trail Council, Cannon District. Established in 1927, we are one of the oldest, continuously serving Troops in the region. Troop 2 is a boy-led, adult-advised Troop. All of the programs are planned and executed by the Boy Scouts themselves, with experienced adult leaders available to advise and ensure that all activities are conducted in a safe manner. The main objective of the Troop is to encourage and support the scouts as they develop the lifelong skills of citizenship, leadership and self-reliance, while having lots of fun along the way. Master Trip Master book

Calling all Trip Masters..... 
I have started to compile a Master Trip Master book.  So far I have 3 events listed.  If you have been a trip master in the recent past, please email me any information on what you did to organize/plan the trip so I can add it to the book.  You can take a look at the information I have so far.  The document is located under Home -> Files -> Trip Master Files & Ref. The 2015-2016 Troop 2 REDBOOK is here!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The 2015/2016 Redbook has been completed and added to the website.  To make it easy to access, a new menu option to the left called...you guessed it... "2015-2016 Redbook"  The Redbook file may be downloaded to your computer/device by clicking on the link at the bottom of the page.  It is required that EVERY SCOUT & PARENT/GUARDIAN Print and sign page13 of the redbook to acknowledge that you've read the book and also understand the disciplanary action process/policy.  The signed form can be returned to either the Troopmaster or the Committee Chairperson.

Order of the Arrow Trail Crew

OA members interested in a high adventure trip have the opportunity to attend any of BSA's high adventure programs at a significantly reduced rate by working on the OA Trail Crew. Spend 1 week performing trail maintenance and then 1 week on a high adventure trek with your OA crew. OA Trail Crews are currently being formed for summer 2015, including Philmont Scout Ranch in Cimarron, NM, Norther Tier in Ely, MN, Summit Bechtel Reserve in Bradley, WV, and Florida Sea Base in Summerland Key, FL.
