Eagle Scout Court of Honor (ECOH)

Troop 2 likes to recognize and celebrate the achievements of our Scouts. None of these achievements can compare tot he recognition of a Scout who works diligently throughout his Scouting career to reach Scouting's highest rank, that of Eagle Scout.

To date Troop 2 has over 105+ Scouts in it's long history achieve this honor and we hope for many, many more. For a listing of our Eagle Scouts, <<CLICK HERE>>

The achievement of the Eagle Scout is recognized in an Eagle Scout Court of Honor (ECOH) that is held separately from the Troop's usual Court of Honor celebration. this is an event for one person, the celebration of one young man's hard work.

The selection of the date and the organization of an Eagle Scout Court of Honor is the responsibility of the family of the Eagle Scout. Members of Troop 2 and its adult leadership will assist the family in any way we can, but how the ceremony is conducted, when where, etc., is all up to the Eagle Scout and his family.

Troop 2 has created a document to assist the Eagle Scout and his family in planning the Court of Honor for their Scout. The document has all the information from who is responsible for what, to the script itself. Not all parts of the script must be included, but those that are necessary are noted in the booklet.

Should the Eagle Scout or his family have any questions, they are encouraged to contact the Chairperson, Advancement Chair and/or Scoutmaster for assistance.
