- The many Troop 2 Scouts and alumni on staff at Camp Resolute that made our stay all the more enjoyable.
And finally, to all the parents for preparing their Scouts, bringing them to and from Camp and providing a great environment for our Scouts to develop within...
"What do the adults really do at Camp?"
Many parents have asked... what do the adults do while they are at Camp? The Scouts are off at classes and activities... what do you do to pass the time?
- Well some of us, like myself actually did some work while at Camp... no not fun, but necessary.
- Mr. Novak actually ended up spending some time helping at the shooting range teaching some classes and repairing some equipment when a counselor became ill.
- Mr. Bradley and Mr. Pittsley were up early each morning partaking in the polar bear swim club with a group of our Scouts.
- Mr. Pittsley assisted me with the website by doubling as our photographer while I was out of Camp or working on the ol' laptop. He also manned the row boat while one of our Scouts swam the mile on Friday.
- Each of us also spent time keeping an eye on the camp site, checking to ensure the Scouts got to their classes on time and that they enjoyed a good week at Camp.
- And other things? Well let's say a picture is worth a thousand words...
okay... maybe a few of the pictures may have been "staged," a little...
