Summer Camp 2007 Daily Diaries
Camp Resolute - Bolton, MA
Diary home SUNDAY Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday Friday
Wednesday, July 18th Troop 2 Diary:
Well we had a much better day weather-wise on Wednesday! It started early as usual with the Polar Bear swim. Then back to camp for the flag raising, but wait, what's up on the flagpole? Someone lose a pair of Hanes? Anyway... it was then opening colors and breakfast then off to our Merit Badges. Check out the great pics from the metalworking area!
For lunch we had hot dogs and then we were off to afternoon activities throughout camp!
Our Scoutmaster, Mr. Armata, had an entry in the Leader Cook-off this afternoon. Hmmm... everything smelled sooooo good. Mr. Armata made stuffed chicken breats over rice with some veggies on the side. There was also jambilya, smoked pork, deep fried chicken, dutch oven chicken and more.
For dinner this evening there was a Turkey Dinner... mmmm good. Then there was some time off before the Order of the Arrow meetings for those members and then a Troop SHoot at the range where we fired rifles, shotguns and the adults some black powder. Click here for a short video.
We also had four boards of review this evening, watch for the results to be announced at the Court of Honor on Friday afternoon.
Stay tuned for more news and pictures of the week's events!
