DATE:
The annual Milford Veteran's Day Parade will be held on Sunday, November 12, 2006.
ASSEMBLY:
- The assembly of Troops, Scouts and others marching in this year's parade will take place at 1:30 PM in the parking lot near Stop 'n' Shop on route 16 next to the 99 restaurant.
- Parents/drivers may enter from route 16 or from Fortune Boulevard.
PARADE ROUTE:
- The parade will step off at 2 PM and proceed up Main Street to the Dough Boy Monument in Calzone Park for a brief ceremony.
- The parade will then continue up Main Street and end at the Draper War Memorial where songs will be played by the school bands followed by a gun salute and taps.
Hopefully, all
Scouts will be able to attend with flags flying and to pay tribute to those
that have given their lives for our great country.
