2008 Summer Camp!!
Sunday, July 20th through Friday, July 25th
Camp Resolute - Bolton, MA
SUMMER CAMP 2008 SIGNUPS OVERDUE!!
Signups for Summer Camp 2008 with Troop 2 at Camp Resolute were due Thursday, April 17th!!
If a Scout still wishes to attend camp, he may do so. Any non-Crossover Scout who registers for Summer Camp from this point will be charged the regular registration rate of $320. Siblings are charged a "Brother Fee" $230 each.
New Webelo Crossover Scouts do not need to adhere to this deadline. Crossover Scouts get the early bird rate through Thursday, June 5th.
DETAILS:
Troop 2 will once again be taking part in Summer Camp this year at Camp Resolute!
Troop 2 will be staying at the Cherokee site again this year, just a stone's throw away from the center of camp and the dining hall.
The cost for camp this year is $320. Brothers receive a discounted rate of $230 each! You can also sign up for a second week of camp at only $229 each!
This year Troop 2 will have a Summer Camp signup procedure to ease our process of getting all the Scouts lined up for slots and signed up for their Merit Badges.
2008 Camp Resolute Changes:
- Another 2 campsites will receive new tents and bunks this year (no we do not know where)
- Swim tests in advance of camp (TBA at MHS Pool) - No more long lines the first day of camp!! Scouts/Leaders can have their swim tests done ahead of camp. We will have a Troop 2 swim test night at the MHS Pool. Stay tuned for more!

CIT (Counselor in Training) Program:
If your Scout is interested in training to become a member of the Camp Resolute staff, he can enjoy 3 weeks of camp as a CIT! He goes for three weeks, earns badges and much, much more. If you are interested, see the links below for the 2008 a CIT Application package!
