SIGHT
NIGHT |
Volunteers are needed in our area! Trick-or-Treat night is also "SIGHT NIGHT!"
This is a service project sponsored by the Lions Club International and Lenscrafters. Volunteers are needed to gather used eyeglasses and sunglasses. Volunteers from Lions Club International and Lenscrafters will then clean, repair and prepare the old glasses and deliver them to people who need glasses but cannot afford them.

What you need to do:
- Sign-up to participate at the next Troop Meeting.
- Make and deliver flyers or door hangers (you will be given a sample) telling your family, friends and neighbors about SIGHT NIGHT.
- When you go Trick-or-treating, collect glasses from families who would like to make a donation. "You will be given a stocker identifying you as a SIGHT NIGHT volunteer trick-or-treating for SIGHT NIGHT.
- Bring the glasses you collect to the next Troop meeting after the pickups (November 4th) meeting.
DATE:
Halloween night, Sunday, October 31st, 2003
GOAL:
The goal is for each Scout to collect 2 or more pairs of glasses.
Service Project Time:
Scouts can earn up to 2 service project hours for assisting with the program.
