As a parent, one of the first question always heard is "What do I need to get for my Scout?" Below is a short listing of the items he will need upon joining out Troop. The items may be purchased at the store of your choice. There are stores throughout the local townships that carry Scouting materials and uniforms. Atop this section we have listed the address for the New England Scout Shop. Here you will find most of the items your son will need. You may also find uniform materials on-line and through the Scout catalog. Camping materials can be purchased at many local department and sporting goods stores.
Additionally the Troop maintains a supply of pants and other items used by prior Scouts. The items are donated back to the Troop for the younger boys as the existing Scouts outgrow the materials. "Class B" shirts are T-Shirts sold by the Troop as uniform pieces to wear while on campouts and events when a "Class A" uniform consisting of the official Scout Shirt, Neckerchief, Pants/Shorts, and Cap are not required.
