2011 Sturbridge Village Visit

Troop 2 will going on a visit to Old Sturbridge Village on Saturday, November 5th.
NOTE: THIS DATE HAS CHANGED FROM THE ORIGINAL SCHEDULE!!

Old Sturbridge Village is a"must-see" destination to experience early New England life from 1790- 1840. One of the country's largest living history museums, OSV has historians in costume, antique buildings, water-powered mills and a working farm. Visitors can ride the stagecoach, tour heirloom gardens, meet heritage breed animals, and enjoy hands-on crafts.

November 5, 2011 is Scout Day at OSV, with special activities just for Scouts!!

PLEASE SEE THE PERMISSION SLIP TO CHOOSE WHICH ACTIVITY YOU WANT TO DO AS A TROOP.

If you are interested in this activity, download the sign up form using the link below, fill it out, and return it to the specified Tripmaster before the deadline!!

Schedule

• Saturday November 5th   9:00 am:
  Drop Off by parent/guardian at the Sacred Heart Church Parking Lot
• Saturday, November 5th 4:00 pm:
  Pick Up by parent/guardianat the Sacred Heart Church Parking Lot
  

Location and Activities

• Cost per Scout: $15 each (covers campsite and wood for fires)
• Food: Supplied by each individual Scout. Bring your own lunch!!

Requirements for Attendance

• CUT OFF DATE FOR SIGN UP: Permission slips (attached to this e-mail message) must be turned in to the Scoutmaster no later than Thursday, October 6th.
