2012 - Flagging of Veteran's Grave Sites

Flagging of Veteran's Graves - Saturday, May 26th - 8 am start.

As done in prior years, assigned cemeteries have rotated, so please note the new group assignments. 

When you arrive at the assigned cemetery, please advise the Coordinator of any adult First Aiders present.  Scouts can participate with a Parent or their Scouting Leader, or both.

Information regarding Flagging of Veterans' Graves:   

• If available, please bring along a pen and a clipboard.   
• If you are available, before leaving, please check to see if other cemeteries need help to be completed. 
• The Flag Retirement Ceremony will take place on Monday, May 28th at 12:30 PM at the Italian American Veteran's Club.  Any old or worn flags from home can be retired at this time also.        
• Additional information about grave flagging is attached.

Veterans Needed

We are looking for 5 veterans' of the US armed services to participate in the flag retirement ceremony on Monday May 28th. If you know of any scouters, scout parents or any veterans who could serve in this vital role, please ask them to contact Amy Donahue
