Thank You first for visiting our new Project, "Troop Support." This is the first step in what we hope is a very important journey.

The project is an effort for our Boy Scout Troop and its members to show our support for the men and women who serve to protect and defend our country and its values. Regardless of one's own political beliefs, we can all agree that the sacrifices made by the members of our armed forces and their families is tremendous, and one on our eyes, that must be respected and recognized.

The project serves a secondary purpose in providing an opportunity for our member Scouts to learn about our armed forces, the purposes they serve, the many aspects of their daily lives and the many challenges they face on an ongoing basis.

TROOP 2 CARE PACKAGES:

Our next step is where any of us can help... fundraising and sourcing. Our hope is to be able to provide "care boxes" to our service partner and their unit. Within these care packages would be communications from the Troop and its members and materials which the service member and their unit can use on a daily basis. Items such as snacks, drinks, Health and Beauty items and other items they can use to get their jobs done, or simply enjoy their down time.

Some of the items we hope to include in the care packages include;

Beef Jerky/Slim Jims
Energy bars
Sunflower Seeds
Peanuts
Jelly Beans
Skittles
Seasoning Salts
Hard Candies (service member use)
Smarties/Sweet Tarts (for local children while on patrol)
