Committee Meetings

Troop 2 maintains a Committee of registered adult volunteers whose role it is to guide the Scouts in providing a great program of activities and experiences for the boys. Additionally they act to serve as assistants and coworkers to the Troop's Scoutmaster.

These adults are trained in roles including to assist the troop in organizing its activities and overall program. Officers that serve as the "executives of the committee include; Chartered Organizational Reporesentative, Committee Chairperson, Secretary, Treasurer, Advancement Chairperson, Activities Coordinator and many roles the troop itself has identified as beneficial to planning and program process.

Committee Members also serve as members of the Board of Review which evaluate each Scout as he strives to progress through the ranks of Scouting. For more information on the Scouting ranks, check out the "Advancement" section of our website.

The Committee meets the FIRST Thursday of each month during the 7 PM Troop meeting in the cafeteria of Milford Catholic School unless otherwise specified. In advance of each meeting the Chariperson will publish/distribute a meeting agenda and after each Committee Meeting the Secretary of the Troop will distribute electronic copies of the minutes of the meeting via email and this website.
